Metro Florida Hospitalist – Bone Marrow Transplant
Seeking two dedicated Internal Medicine physicians to join a Malignant Hematology/Bone Marrow Transplant group and provide comprehensive care for leukemia & bone marrow patients.

Join a Malignant Hematology/Bone Marrow Transplant Group
- 7 days on, 7 days off schedule
- Cover patients from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, with a physical presence on the floor required at least from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM (may need to stay past four if a new leukemia patient admission/transfer is expected)
- APPs provide nighttime coverage. Appropriate sign-out should be done each day in the morning and evening.
- Provide high-quality care to approximately 16-18 patients daily, 1-2 new admissions on average.
- Collaborate closely with the leukemia and bone marrow transplant team, ensuring cohesive patient management.
- Work alongside a dedicated leukemia navigator, case manager, and two clinical pharmacists to optimize patient care.
- Attend regular malignant hematology meetings, including patient sign-out meetings.
Support and Collaboration
- Close support from the malignant hematology and BMT team for patient management.
- Assistance from a dedicated leukemia navigator and a case manager for patient care coordination.
- Access to two dedicated clinical pharmacists specializing in hematology and bone marrow transplants.
- Established relationships with consultants in other specialties familiar with the needs of our patients.
- Geographic rounds.
- Participation in multidisciplinary malignant hematology meetings.
- Appropriateness of discharge timing is determined by the malignant hematology team.
Earn $350,000 + per Year – Florida Hospitalist

Qualifications: Board-certified / eligible for Internal Medicine is required. The position is subject to availability and qualifications.
