- This is an exciting role to oversee the complex educational mission of the Department of Family and Community Medicine, including the coordination of faculty, staff, and trainees involved in this mission.
- A leader that can provide the best possible training at all levels, including UME, GME (Residents and Fellows), CME, and allied health students
- Overseeing the department’s grand rounds and CME offerings
- Represent the Department at institutional education meetings
- Clinic with medical students, residents, and fellows, see an average of 8 patients in a half day
Work collaboratively with the Chair of Family Medicine, Vice Chair for Clinical Care and Quality, Vice Chair of Research, and other leadership at the University
- Collaborate with the Family Medicine Residency Director to increase educational offers, create new GME programs, and create a network for the exchange of best practices
- Ability to work collaboratively with various levels of stakeholders (administrators, faculty, researchers, staff, and students).
